The Four Seasons
James Wilton Dance reimagines Vivaldi’s iconic The Four Seasons as a journey through the life of the universe.
Set to Max Richter’s acclaimed recomposition of Vivaldi’s score, the work connects each season with a different stage of cosmic evolution. Spring becomes the Singularity, Summer the Expanding Universe, Autumn the Cooling Universe and Winter the final Entropic Heat Death.
Choreographed and performed by James Wilton and Sarah Jane Taylor, The Four Seasons combines powerful physicality, evocative lighting and striking design to create an immersive journey from the birth of the universe to its ultimate end.
