Join author and storyteller Bernadette Russell and artist Kerrie Seymour for a relaxed and fun creative writing workshop for adults.
Exploring the history of shipwrecks and sailors of the North Devon coastline, you will help us create imaginary letters from those lost at sea. The letters will then feature in The Wild Shore - Burn the Curtain’s new outdoor theatre show coming to North Devon this summer.
Absolute beginners to writing are welcome. There will be lots of prompts and inspiration to work with, and all materials will be provided. Both workshop leaders are seasoned writers.

These workshops are offered on a Pay What You Will basis. This means you choose how much to give - whether that's a little, a lot, or nothing at all. There’ll be a donation bucket and a card reader available on the day.
We believe creativity should be accessible to everyone, so no one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you're able to contribute, your donation helps support the artists and make events like this possible for others too.
