Wassail Training Day | Wren Music

  • Swimbridge Jubilee Hall EX32 0PQ United Kingdom (map)

Wassail is an old English word meaning ‘good health’ and is an ancient English ceremony that involves singing and drinking to the health of trees in the hopes that they might better thrive and to ensure a good harvest of fruit in the Autumn!

In the cider-producing counties such as Devon, there are many new or "revival" wassails springing up and this Wassails Workshop is a fun opportunity for community organisers who would like to see a revival of Wassailing in their communities.

Led by Wren Music the day will feature talks, demonstrations and singing to give you the tools to be able to toast your own trees at an event in your community.
