Children aged 9-11 that live in North Devon are invited to take part in a FREE workshop to create artwork in response to climate change to be displayed alongside the work of one of the world's leading contemporary photographers Gideon Mendel.
The aim of this project is to develop children’s understanding of potential impacts to their local environment because of climate change. Supporting children to speak up and think about their local community and its future. Encouraging children to be climate champions and change makers. Leading to an exhibition at Barnstaple Pannier Market in October/November as part of an international Climate Festival.

Who: Children aged 9-11 (children attending this workshop must be accompanied by an adult)
What: A 2 hr climate and local environmental learning and sign design workshop
Refreshments will be available for a donation.
A selection of signs and participants will be chosen by Gideon Mendel to take part in a masterclass and photoshoot in late September/early October .
