Gideon Mendel is known worldwide for his images that capture the human experience of climate change. In this talk Gideon will discuss his exploration of global flooding through his ‘Drowning World’ series in visual dialogue with his brand-new commission for the Beaford Archive, ‘When I’m 40’. This talk will highlight that the climate crisis is a shared human experience and will include documentary footage giving a unique insight into his practice.
