Participate in this free Practical Photography workshop and have the UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY to print analogue photos from film. Specifically, you will be allowed to use neg. copies from the archive to experiment with contrast and chemicals which have never before been available to the public.
With the archive negs in hand, you will be able to print and compare the style of James Ravilious and Roger Deakins to get a better understanding of their approach to documenting and photographing for the archive collection.
The workshop is aimed at 16+ and you will be based in the Kingsley Room which will have been converted to a darkroom for the weekend. You might wish to book onto both days for the full darkroom workshop experience, to print your own images, however both days can be booked onto as one-off experiences.
